Falls Lake

Also adjacent to I-85 between Durham and Butner. Offers fishing, recreation and scenic views.

Kerr Lake
Adjacent to 15-501 N from Oxford bordering our neighbor Virginia.

This shimmering expanse offers recreational opportunities most of the year. Nearby Clarksville is a lazy lake town with scenic views. Also accessible via I-85 to 39 north.

Lake Rogers
Highway 56 adjacent to I-85.

Dock and picnic tables are situated on Hwy 56 between Creedmoor and Butner.

ENTERTAINMENT

Granville County is within the vibrant entertainment area which is the Triangle.

Entertainment is abundant in the area in many forms. The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, North Carolina State in Raleigh, North Carolina Central in Durham, and Duke Universities are within a 40-minute drive. They provide the finest in collegiate sports entertainment that is unequalled. The Atlantic Coast Conference basketball program is number one in the entire country.

The RBC Center and the Alltel Pavilion feature concerts by leading musicians throughout the year. The RBC Center is also home to the NHL Carolina Hurricanes.

Baseball is available with the Durham Bulls baseball team.

Golf courses are abundant in the region with world famous Pinehurst golf course within an easy drive.

Locally – Granville Little Theater and the Road Less Traveled Theater groups provide stage hits for all ages.

Several multiplexes for first run movies are within 10 minutes north to nearby Henderson, 15 minutes to the west in Roxboro, to the south in Durham or Raleigh

We have video stores that rent all major movies and independent films

Museums, sporting events, fine dining, quality housing, shopping and recreation on the lake or the golf course is available throughout the area.
